Cultivating Connection Clinic
Monthly Equine-Assisted Gathering for Presence, Regulation & Connection
Service Description
Cultivating Connection is a recurring community experience designed to help participants slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore authentic connection through the wisdom of horses. In a world that often rewards speed, productivity, and constant stimulation, horses invite us into something different. As highly sensitive prey animals, they respond honestly to our internal state, offering immediate feedback about our level of presence, regulation, and awareness. Each monthly gathering combines experiential learning, guided discussion, mindfulness practices, and hands-on interactions with the herd. Together, we explore concepts such as nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, co-regulation, and communication while developing practical tools that can be applied to everyday life. Participants may engage in breathing exercises, observation activities, grounding practices, horse-human connection exercises, and group reflection designed to deepen self-awareness and strengthen relational skills. Unlike our private experiences and specialized workshops, Cultivating Connection is intentionally community-centered and accessible. Friends, family members, horse enthusiasts, and newcomers alike are welcome to join. Each gathering concludes with time for reflection, conversation, and informal social connection, creating space for both personal insight and community building. This is a donation-based monthly event. No horse experience is necessary. All activities are ground-based (no riding). Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours.
